Upslope Brewing Introduces Two New Packages for the Summer: International Lager Series Mix Boxes and Japanese Style Lager

New Offerings for Lager and Light Beer Lovers Alike

BOULDER, Colo. (June 9, 2022) — Boulder-based Upslope Brewing Company introduces their new rotational Lager Series Mix Box, as well as brand new limited release Japanese Style Lager, the latest installment in their year-long International Lager Series.

The International Lager Series, inspired by beer styles around the world, will be available throughout 2022 with a new and unique limited release beer being introduced every two months. Some of these styles are familiar re-releases, while others are being canned for the very first time.

To showcase these new and unique International Lager Series styles and appeal to light beer drinkers, Upslope is introducing the Lager Series Mix Box. These brand new mix boxes, available exclusively in Colorado to begin, will feature beers from the Series on a rotational basis, with three beer styles per box. The first Lager Series Mix Box, available now, contains German Pilsner, Mexican Dark Lager and Craft Lager. The next mix box will feature Japanese Style Lager, German Pilsner and Craft Lager.

In addition to the Lager Series Mix Box, Upslope has another exciting summer lager offering that is brand new to their limited release lineup: Japanese Style Lager. This first time can offering is delicate and effervescent with a snappy hop character and bone dry finish that makes it the perfect complement to a wide variety of food.

Our Japanese Style Lager has been a fan favorite in the taproom for a number of years and I’m very excited to share this beer with a wider audience,” said Head Brewer Alex Meyer. “It’s brewed with a high percentage of flaked rice, which lends a delicious toasty flavor and refreshing levity to the finished product. Contessa hops add subtle green tea and pear notes that compliment the dry, effervescent body of the beer. Japanese Style Lager is the archetype of crispy, refreshing lager and I can’t wait to drink it in volume as we move into the hot weather of summer.”

Japanese Style Lager is available on draft and in 12-ounce six packs at Upslope’s two Boulder tap rooms and across Upslope’s distribution region of the Rocky Mountains, Midwest, and southern United States. Lager Series Mix Boxes will be available exclusively in Colorado.
