Upslope Brewing Co. Announces New Year-Round Offering
Hazy IPA joins Upslope’s 2021 year-round, core lineup starting this December
BOULDER, Colo. (December 1, 2020) — Upslope Brewing Company announces the release of Hazy IPA, the newest addition to their year-round lineup of brews. This highly awaited, hoppy style proudly joins their core beer roster in 12-ounce six-packs and on draft starting early December 2020.
With the overwhelming popularity of the style and rising consumer demand, Upslope developed multiple Hazy IPAs over the years for their tap rooms before perfecting the recipe that made its way into a can and earned a spot on their year-round calendar. Their Hazy IPA is the product of extensive experimentation to find the juiciest expression of hops with a smooth delivery. This 6.6% ABV hazy IPA delivers notes of ripe peach, fresh pine, and pink guava, supported by a pillowy mouthfeel and low bitterness.
Hazy IPA stands alongside Upslope’s flagship India Pale Ale, a unique fan favorite since the beginning, and replaces their hop-forward annual Experimental IPA Series.
“In developing this beer we wanted to challenge many of the preconceived notions that surround the creation of a great hazy IPA while emphasizing the characteristics that beer drinkers have come to expect of this style,” said Alex Meyer, Upslope’s Lead Brewer at their R&D Facility. “Water chemistry, innovative dry-hopping techniques, and a novel yeast strain all contribute to a vibrant, juicy profile coaxed from a blend of our favorite hop varieties. Our ultimate goal was to make this beer extremely expressive and pleasantly drinkable simultaneously.”
