We’re just as excited as you are for another IPA Day celebration! August 3rd, 2017 is IPA Day this year and we’ll be showing off some of our most popular beers in a special all IPA flight. Both of our locations will have a deal on a flight of five of our favorite IPAs for $12!
Special IPA Flights
Flights will include a selection of beers depending on which location you visit. Of course, each flight will include our flagship India Pale Ale. This IPA is a balance between a classic American IPA and the South American style of the beer, which is much more malty. These styles combine to make a full bodied and aggressively bitter beer. We’ll also be featuring our summer Limited Release seasonal, Thai Style White IPA. The Thai White IPA, brewed with Belgian Wit yeast, has a ton of citrusy hops in it, as well as Thai basil, lemongrass, ginger, and coriander. This combination gives it a refreshing herbal citrus character, making it a perfect beer for summer adventures. Our Pilot IPA Series shows off some of the creative juices of our brewing team. The newest version, 6.1, is a juicy west coast style IPA made with Denali, Galaxy and Azacca hops. Swing by one of our tap rooms to try these out and see what other delicious IPAs we have on draft!
Learn About Hops!
In the spirit of the day, we’ll also be happy to help you get your learn on when it comes to what makes IPAs stand out among other beer styles. Ask any of the bartenders at our Flatiron Park location about the hops on display in jars, and we’ll give you the rundown and what each hop variety contributes to the beers they’re used in. Whether you’re checking out citrusy Mosaic hops, or Czech Saaz noble hops with their distinct herbal characteristics, you’re sure to enjoy the aroma in the tap room!
Be sure to follow along with the IPA Day festivities on social media with #IPADay, and share some pictures of your favorite India Pale Ales!
