DESCRIPTION:Join us on March 24th from 6-8 pm in our Flatiron Park tap room for the first installation of our Pints for the People Program!\nPints for the People is a quarterly program to promote and partner with organizations that drive equal access to and inclusion in the outdoor and craft beer industries for historically excluded groups.\nTo kick things off\, we’ve partnered with Blackpackers\, an incredible organization that works to provide outdoor gear\, experiences\, education and other opportunities in the outdoor industry to those who are underrepresented and/or economically vulnerable in an effort to create economic equity in outdoor recreation.\n\n—\n\nIn preparation for our Pints for the People event on March 24th\, we brewed a collaboration beer a few weeks ago! The Blackpackers’ Brew is a Hazy IPA with Citra\, Sultana\, Centennial\, and Mosaic hops and curuba fruit.\nTo celebrate the release of this collaboration beer\, come meet the Blackpackers crew and have a chance to enter some fun giveaways. Additionally\, $1 from each pint of the Blackpackers’ Brew sold (until we sell out) will be donated to Blackpackers to continue to work toward their mission!\n\n—\n\n\n\n—\n\n\nABOUT BLACKPACKERS //\nBlackpackers is a 501(c)(3) organization meeting those at the intersection of underrepresentation and economic vulnerability.\nBlackpackers’ mission is two-fold:\n1) To provide gear\, outdoor excursions and outdoor education for free or at subsidized cost.\n2) To connect participants with volunteer opportunities\, internships\, jobs\, and post-secondary education resources to create a pipeline from outdoor recreation to outdoor industry careers.\nIn these ways\, we can create economic equity in outdoor recreation.
