DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Lee Hill Tap Room for this month’s Pints for the People! \n$1 of every pint sold today will be donated to a non-profit organization that Upslope employees believe in! \nSeptember’s Organization: Growe Foundation \n  \nAbout Growe Foundation: \nStarting with one elementary school community\, Bryce Brown and Deborah Foy began exploring how to improve school food and enrich educational experiences through onsite gardens. Soon a movement was born engaging teachers\, students\, parents and the local community in a common purpose. \nThrough the efforts of many\, two initiatives have been developed: the School Food Project and the Garden to Table program. Thanks to school and community support children benefit from our Garden to Table program. This program includes individualized Pre-K through 5th grade standard based curriculum lesson plans for the schools to foster hands-on learning\, access and support to healthy eating habits\, and environment stewardship. Since 2006\, the Growe Foundation has been committed to using experiential gardens as a teaching tool to educate children about the benefits of healthy eating and environmental stewardship. Our vision is to unite people around a shared goal of creating healthier children\, schools\, communities and the planet. \n

DESCRIPTION:Boogie on down to Lee Hill tonight for some live tunes by  Michael McPherson! \n  \nAbout the Band: \nMichael McPherson is a seasoned songwriter\, performer and recording artist and has made his mark in the music industry as the owner and operator of recording studios\, record labels\, music publishing companies\, production companies and music distribution companies. A versatile vocalist\, songwriter and musician\, he plays several instruments including the guitar\, bass\, mandolin\, and keyboards. \nMichael spent his early years in southeast Missouri where he first learned to play the guitar at age 12. He went on to play guitar\, bass\, and keyboards in a number of Midwestern rock bands throughout his high school and college years. After graduating from the University Of Missouri with a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering\, he moved to Scottsdale\, Arizona\, where he played local clubs as a solo acoustic act\, refining his performing and songwriting skills. He later moved to the Boulder\, Colorado area where he fronted several rock/blues bands and continued to write and perform as a solo artist.

DESCRIPTION:We’re headed to the backcountry once again this fall to host a pop-up tap room experience for our 5th Annual ↟↟ Backcountry Tap Room ↟↟ on Saturday\, September 28\, 2019! Get ready to enjoy some good beers in the great outdoors… but you’ll have to earn ’em! \n  \nWe’re teaming up with our friends at Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics again this year – 100% of the profits will go directly to Leave No Trace to support their 2020 Colorado Hot Spots! \n  \nThis year’s Backcountry Tap Room will serve as the release location for a brand new\, limited edition beer brewed exclusively for the event – a Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale.
