This not only threatens access\, but it degrades the climbing areas that we hold so dear. \nToday\, 1 in 5 climbing areas in the United States is threatened by an access issue—whether it’s private land lost to development\, public land managers over-regulating climbing\, or climber impacts degrading the environment\, the list of threats is long and constantly evolving. \nBut they can be managed. DESCRIPTION:  \nBoogie on down to Lee Hill tonight for some live tunes by Scupanon! \n  \nAbout The Band: \nScupanon’s music has been described as everything from Orchestral to Acoustic Punk. Scupanon is guitarist Rob Roper singing his original songs\, accompanied by Paul Ermisch on violin. At times Scupanon has also included upright bass players and percussionists. Roper and Ermisch have been playing together on the Colorado Front Range since 2010. \nRob Roper has recorded four solo CDs. Jon Solomon of the Westword\, reviewing Roper’s 2011 LP “Misfit\,” describes him as “…a guy with some sharp songwriting skills and a knack for penning witty lyrics.” \nTim Wenger of the Colorado Music Buzz said of his 2012 EP\, “The Other Side of Nowhere” (in which Ermisch was featured)\, “His music sounds like what you would hear in a small high-country café\, there are touches of country as well as some faster paced rock riffs that stand out at just the right times.”
