About the Band:

Scupanon is led by songwriter Rob Roper, who has been playing his original songs on the Colorado Front Range since 2006.

Jon Solomon of the Westword, reviewing Roper’s 2011 LP “Misfit,” describes him as “…a guy with some sharp songwriting skills and a knack for penning witty lyrics.”

Tim Wenger of the Colorado Music Buzz said of his 2012 EP, “The Other Side of Nowhere” (in which Ermisch was featured), “His music sounds like what you would hear in a small high-country café, there are touches of country as well as some faster paced rock riffs that stand out at just the right times.”
