“A Soulful Bluesy Stew of Good Music”. Defunkt Railroad is a three piece band playing soulful originals, blues, R&B, Americana and Louisiana roots music. Defunkt Railroad’s performances can range from quiet acoustic shows to rocking blues and zydeco. Defunkt Railroad features the soulful vocals of Ms DJ Mrugala who also plays drums, congas, washboard, and other percussion instruments. The band also features Rick Ditmars on bass guitar and Randy Mrugala on guitar, slide guitar, and vocals. Defunkt Railroad plans to release their first cd in the near future.
