FREE Avalanche Awareness Class (Flatiron Park)

Friends of Berthoud Pass are putting on a FREE Avalanche awareness classroom, covering topics such as avalanche red flags, observing weather and snowfall, identifying potential avalanche terrain, self-rescue and safety gear . Additional open discussion follows. This class is a perfect introduction for novices and also a great early season refresher for more experienced BC travelers. The class begins at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public, FREE of charge. No registration is required.
