For the last few years\, he’s been trying to take the music directly to the people. With a mix of rock\, folk and soul alongside his acoustic\, finger-style guitar\, he sings of many things: from love to rocket ships\, from birthdays to divorce\, from boredom to the end of the world. His voice can be soulful and sweet\, and his guitar playing can be delicate or powerful. Like some bastard child of Elliot Smith and Spoon with a dash of Cee Lo Green’s DNA mixed in\, David Coile’s music takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride.
