DESCRIPTION:Come check out the soulful tunes of Kenny Lee Young at Lee Hill this Friday! \n \nArtist Bio: \nKenny was born in Bellevue\, WA\, but was raised in Midland and Sanford\, MI. He began singing in choirs at a very young age up through high school. During this time\, Kenny was the lead singer in a garage band group called “Rook” which focused on alternative rock.\nIt wasn’t until going to college at Central Michigan University where he picked up the guitar as a freshman. He began winning talent shows and playing in local coffee shops and bars throughout the next few years\, and at the age of 22 was when he released his first album “All Sides of the Spectrum”.\nNot long after the release\, Kenny moved to Denver\, CO. His solo career really took a leap forward where he made his mark by opening up for Common at CSU and Brad Corrigan from Dispatch at DU. He also released and EP in 2007 called “No Time to Waste” as well as three live albums. He has also been the front man for projects like “Left Hand Cheater”\, “MyFiend Tom”\,”Pearls for Breakfast”\, and “Natural Geometry” while maintaining his solo career.\nCurrently you can see Kenny Lee Young playing at many venues\, breweries\, restaurants\, coffee shops\, festivals\, benefits\, and weddings inside and out of Colorado. He also released his new EP “The Learning Curve” in April of 2014 and in 2015 became sponsored by Teton Guitars

DESCRIPTION: Lindsey Saunders    returns this Friday to Lee Hill to bring the music! \n \n\nAbout the Band: \nLindsey Saunders is a Taylor Guitars Artist Partner (May 2014)\, with notable performances at events such as the Sundance Music Fest\, Boulder International Film Fest\, Durango Songwriters EXPO\, SXSW\, and CMJ Music Marathon. On her debut EP release “Nothing Normal” she collaborated with the likes of Lisa Harriton (Smashing Pumpkins)\, Jason Ganberg\, Gayle Day\, Ido Sasson\, and Alex Balderston Saunders has received critical acclaim for her work being noted as a musician whose artistry and poise as a songwriter\, guitarist\, and vocalist demands to be both seen and heard. \nThe instrumental release “Miles Before Sleep” was released November 4\, 2014 . Vastly different from her indie pop debut in 2012\, her talents shine as a composer in her own right. Geared towards the classical guitar listener\, the four movements were born out of Catherine Tiso’s contemporary dance Diverge/Connect (2013 – Chicago).
