DESCRIPTION:We’ll see you at Lee Hill this Friday for delicious suds and music by Eric Wiggs! \nArtist Bio: \nMusician and Educator Eric Wiggs has been performing and teaching for over a decade. He holds a B.M in Jazz Studies/Music Media from the University of Alabama and a M.M. Jazz Performance/Pedagogy from CU-Boulder. \nHe began on the trumpet at age 10 but by age 14 had taken up interest in the guitar. The music of bands such as Pearl Jam and Nirvana led him to classic rock and eventually to the blues. By age 18\, Eric knew he wanted to make music his career and enrolled as a music major in a local college. After transferring to the University of Alabama as a Jazz major\, Eric began his academic studies which culminated in a Master’s degree in Jazz from the University of Colorado in Boulder. \nHe currently performs or has performed with: Carmen Sandim Sextet feat. Ron Miles\, Monocle Band\, Taarka\, members of the Railsplitters\, Cassie Taylor\, The Fever\, Ink Freethinker\, Jocelyn Medina\, Danny Meyer\, Polarity\, Phil Robinson Quintet\, The Spin\, Lindsay and the Lost Caravan\, Meryl Romer\, George Nelson Band\, Aakash Mittal Quartet\, Patrick Wimberly (Chairlift) and many others!

DESCRIPTION:Come get down with Broke Down Shack this Friday at Lee Hill! \nArtist Bio: \nAll three of Broke Down Shacks members met in the far reaches of upstate NY near Canada while attending college. Ever since the three met they’ve been creating new tunes and rediscovering old ones. Now they live in beautiful Golden\, CO and they bring with them all of their experiences to add to the taste of their sound. B.D.S. is always looking for opportunities to play the music they love. \nSteven Lilly grew up in the lower Hudson Valley of New York in a community engrained with music. Growing up he played the trumpet and classical guitar. But with the Appalachian mountains all around and having local influences like Pete Seeger it is no surprise he began to pick in a band like Broke Down Shack. \nJordan Smith was raised in the Southern Tier of upstate NY in the town Corning(glass mecca). He was surrounded by great glass art and music while growing up and has spent a lot of time hanging around Ithaca\, NY before heading to school to meet the other band members and start writing tunes. He has since moved to Colorado to get new inspiration and meet new people. Some of his musical influences include David Grisman\, Edgar Myer\, Old and in the Way\,Yonder Mountain String Band\, and Taj Mahal just to name a few. Jordan started on the electric bass but has since been playing the standup. \nJon Stewart hails from Saratoga Springs\, NY and has been able to take advantage of numerous concerts at the famous S.P.A.C. venue. While growing up he become inspired to write his own music. Its safe to say that one of his number one influences is the great Jerry Garcia. Other influences include Tony Rice\, and The Grateful Dead for just a few examples. He’s starting a career as a luthier building stringed instruments and perfecting his sound. \nAll three musicians have been playing music with each other for about 4 years combined throughout different bands.
