We welcome all runners\, walkers\, joggers\, and spectators that are interested in enjoying the great outdoors and the great craft beer that Colorado has to offer. All of our participants complete a 5k course nearby each brewery. Your registration also earns you an invitation to stick around and enjoy the day’s entertainment: live music\, food offerings\, local vendors\, and fun with our sponsors. \nColorado Brewery Running Series merchandise\, including shirts\, hats\, stickers\, heat press brewery logos\, and seasonal items will be available at the event. You can also add on a Brewery Running Series T-shirt for $10 at the time of registration\, and pick it up when you check-in on site. \nWHAT WE’RE ABOUT:\nOur motto = be active\, have fun\, give back! In addition to pairing some exercise with great craft beer\, a portion of all proceeds goes back to local non-profits. We are very proud that the Colorado Brewery Running Series has so far donated almost $6\,000 to local non-profits! 10% of our proceeds help support our nonprofit partners\, The House that Beer Built\, Dumb Friends League\, and The Park People. \nABOUT THE RUN:\nThis may be different than other “races” you’ve done. We like to keep things relaxed\, and all of our events are untimed so everyone can run or walk at their own pace. Instead of closing down the streets\, we ensure a safe and fun running route on sidewalks\, through parks\, and along trails. The course is staffed with encouraging volunteers to cheer you on and point you back to the brewery for your much-deserved beer! \n{course map coming soon!} \nEVENT DAY DETAILS:\n\nPlease arrive 30 minutes before the start to get checked-in.\nBring a valid ID. Walk-ins are welcome\, but will not be guaranteed a seat for the presentation. \n  \nAbout Elk Range Mountain Safety Coalition: \nA coalition of partners – including Aspen Alpine Guides\, Aspen Expeditions Worldwide\, Mountain Rescue Aspen\, USFS – Sopris\, and the Pitkin County Sheriff – whose primary goal is to provide mountain safety education to outdoor enthusiasts\, climbers\, mountaineers\, and the general climbing community through a cohesive educational outreach program that has a common curriculum by way of presentations and clinics featuring best practices for what it takes to have a safe and successful climb in the Elk Range and beyond.
