DESCRIPTION:  \nBoogie on down to Flatiron Park tonight for some live tunes by Jason Brazzel! \n  \nAbout The Band: \nJason Brazzel was born and raised in Mobile Alabama. He was given his brothers old Fender acoustic guitar and at the age of 15 and taught himself how to play guitar. In his twenties\, after playing an open mic at The Garage in Downtown Mobile AL\, Jason decided to pursue music as a career and performed locally with a number of different acts on the Gulf Coast before moving to a spot just outside of Asheville NC. After performing for two years in Asheville NC\, Jason moved to Denver Co where he now plays shows regularly\, each week.\nJason has great melodies and incredible skills on multiple stringed instruments. Brazzel has a unique vocal styling that is smooth and yet has a soulfully-charged gritty tone. When he performs you will hear rare but familiar covers as well as his own blues /soul originals

He grew up in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. His mother bought him an acoustic guitar at the age of twelve because she wanted to keep him busy. The family moved to Denver\, Colorado\, where he learned to play music by ear\, playing music by everyone from Hendrix to Dylan\, unaware that he was learning the foundation of American music – the blues.
