Our Backcountry Tap Room is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a makeshift tap room placed right where adventure happens to debut a new beer. A true embodiment of our Après Everything mentality, these hidden gems reward those willing to sweat their way to a cold refreshing beer, by giving them a beer worth sweating for.

And to make sure we’re taking care of the beautiful backcountry locations that serve as our beer-drinking backdrops for this one of a kind event, we’ve teamed up with our friends at Leave No Trace. Every ticket sold directly benefits their annual Hot Spot Program, which identifies areas suffering from severe human-related impacts that can thrive again with Leave No Trace solutions.

Why put a few beer bars the middle of nowhere? Because that’s exactly where a brand new Upslope was brewed to be enjoyed. And like all of our beers, those debuted at our Backcountry Tap Room are worth the journey. Especially when that journey ends with a sip of a never-before-tasted-Upslope, and one heck of a view.

Every Backcountry Tap Room event will be held at a different remote location in time to debut a brand new beer. So check back for the “where’s” and “when’s” of the next Backcountry Tap Room. We’ll make sure to put it just far enough out there where the views are unbeatable and the beer tastes amazing.

2025 Location:

Winter Park Resort

THE HIKE: NEW trail and location at Winter Park Resort! Head to the tap room by way of marked trails (Lower Roof of the Rockies Trail + optional 2.1 mile Ute Trail to start and/or Fantasy Meadow loop before getting to the tap room site). You’ll take the scenic gondola to the top and hike* ~2 miles to the tap room. Your ticket includes the gondola ride.
