About the Band:

Steve Mackey is a performing artist who sings solo accompanying himself on guitar. His vocal range and ability are extraordinary and his talents include the ability to “read a crowd” and entertain audiences of all ages. His cover repertoire ranges from classic to current pop/rock, and rhythm & blues. His own songs are pop/rock in style and lie in the romantic to satirical vein.

Steve performs regularly at restaurants, pubs and other venues in Boulder County and northern Colorado. He also has extensive experience performing at private events and parties.

Steve’s professional experience is extensive and includes writing, arranging and performing in duos, trios and full band settings. He has worked as an opening act for artists such as Hall & Oates, Dan Hicks, the late Jerry Garcia and Reconstruction, Jesse Colin Young and Cheech and Chong.

Steve Mackey was born in Philadelphia. His music has been featured on several Philadelphia radio stations both live and recorded and on cable television. He has independently released several compilations of his songs for sale at gigs and through his mailing list.
