Artist Bio:

Åsalott is the intricate compositional craftwork of hammered dulcimer, piano, and cajon player Forrest Lotterhos accompanied by Cody Hart on the cajons. Most reminiscent of Middle Eastern influenced electronic downtempo artists such as Beats Antique, Dirtwire, Govinda, and Desert Dwellers, Åsalott’s music is both meditative and entrancing while remaining very danceable. Performing as an acoustic duo, Forrest and Cody bring ancient instruments to life with an energy and focus that has been drawn out from varying genres of contemporary music.
