About the Band:

Shantyman is a super-funk power trio hailing from the hills of Massachusetts. They tastefully blend various genres from Funky Reggae to Soul and bad ass Rock n’ Roll. The beat is held down by an insanely hard hitting drummer/lead singer resembling much of Levon Helm and John Bonham. Funky slap-style bass lines and a Garcia-esque guitar player provide groovin’ melodies for music enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy. Constantly playing impromptu style set lists, Shantyman is a tidal wave of peaking riffs, crashing into a funk filled sea of pure joy and excitement.
