Live Music: Steve Selinsky (Flatiron Park)

Come to Flatiron Park this Thursday for great beer and awesome music from Guitarist/Songwriter Steve Selinsky!

Artist Bio:

Steve Selinsky has honed his craft on the instrument playing in various music groups, church worship teams, performing personal concerts of cover and original music, and from soundtrack/session work.

Being a huge fan of music in general, he finds himself especially drawn to instrumental music, and began writing original instrumentals in 2008.

Applying a “fusion”-type approach, Steve draws from his love of many different musical styles resulting in songs that stand on their own, while giving nods to jazz, blues, rock, world, and acoustic guitar-based music.

For album work, he incorporates drum loops, but plays every other instrument on the recordings (bass, percussion, rhythm guitar, keyboards, and sometimes live drums) to bring a more organic, “full-band” feel to the recordings, especially for when the songs are performed live.

He played much of his first original pieces with other musicians, but struck out as a solo act at the end of 2011, and continues to delight those who have the opportunity to hear him live.
